I have 3 cats and I'm scared they will kill the chickens

How old/large are your chickens?

I had a cat kill one of my young chicks (almost two months old), but the same cat didn't even bother my older, fully grown chickens.

It depends.

I haven't got the chicks yet, but they will be a day old and I wont put them in the coop till there at lest 6 weeks old

Some of my adult cats are even scared to my big and brave hen. I saw her peck one of my cats, because it was really close to my cat's food that she wants to eat and the cat moved away. Lol
I've never have a problem with any of my cats(past and future) regarding any chicken, though some cats might be a threat to chickens. However, I feel anger when they are trying to catch wild birds, including my lovebird so that they can eat them.

I have two tom cats who are incredibly curious about my 4 chicks (5 weeks old). I'm hoping once they are full grown the curiosity will wear off.

My cat chases my tiny Cochin bantam, but ignores everything else. Fortunately the rooster then chases the cat, since the little bantam is the dominant hen & his favorite.

Then he tries to act all cool & trips over himself.

I could get rid of the cat.....

But then, the cat kills the mice.....

The cat costs nothing to keep because it lives on mice......

Mice are a terrible pest.....

I don't like traps & poisons, I have to pay for them......

A cat is a predator to mice......

But is it a real predator to chickens.......

The debate continues.......
