Cat's, chicken's and dog's first snow.

We got some snow yesterday. We had rain all day and it switched over to snow at about 3:30pm. We probably got about 1 and a half inches.

When it first started...see a bit of white???

The chickens were running around trying to catch all the white 'bugs' falling out of the sky.

Starting to stick.

Bear was so excited, he did a few laps.

Here's how it looked this morning. You can see the game bird netting really good.

Lil Rascal checking it out. The 4 boys wouldn't stay out for longer than 20 minutes.

Bear hates heat so this snow was really welcomed by him (he's part Husky). He ate a bunch of it.

I love Bear. Some dogs get so excited when it snows. I swear he is smiling.

P.S. That's not snow, it a flurry.

LOL It's snow to us!

DH left a little while ago to help his sister move and said that the roads are fine so that's good. I can deal with snow as long as the roads are ok.

Two of my dogs are 1/2 husky, and they LOVE the snow! I guess it's a good thing for them it's not a rare occurance here!

Cool pictures Southern. We got less snow than you. If that's not real snow then I don't want REAL snow. If I wanted to freeze my backside off and walk around with a bad attitude I would move up north.

My basset hounds like the snow and my chickens hate the snow I just found that out on thursday and friday. when it realy snows The bassets can't walk normaly they hop though the snow its pretty funny.
