Well if you walked out my door today you would have a hurting backside...my walkway is covered with about 1" of ice!!! So I just threw down the pellets...it actually froze solid 36 hours ago, I just ignored it until someone refused to come into the house cause they didn't want to fall!!! I'm a bad home owner, must have something to do with my chicken obsession...I've been on here for the last hour!!!! Pathetic! I did though feed my family breakfast

On another note, you southerners seem to be having a pretty tough winter weather wise! I love to see school cancelled down south with 2" of snow on the ground, it sounds so strange....but I also understand that you are not equipped for it! Enjoy the snow if you can!

Hey Southern, Thanks for sharing the pictures! That's a great action picture of Bear. he's a really pretty dog. My Husky/Lab mix loves the cold weather. My other dog a shephard mix is a runner and we can't take her outside w/out a lease. If she ever slips out she tears around the yard like that, but she doesn't come back for hours. It's so cold here, but no snow.

Bear is a husky/shepherd mix...I LOVE mutts! Luckily for him and me he has about half an acre fenced in.​

Oh wonder Bear loves the cold weather! Mug my husky/lab mix just loves the cold. He gets so happy & frisky when it snows. He is also so smart. My shephard mix is smart, but still hyper and not disciplined. You are so lucky to have a half acre fenced in for him to run safely. We have 6 acres, but haven't fenced any in yet. We thought about the invisible fence, but our vet said that our shephard mix would probable run right past it and then not want to return.
