Cat's, chicken's and dog's first snow.

nice pics, it would be snow to us too, its been so long since it snowed here i don't remember what it looks like.

Anyway...there was no snow in the chicken yard. I think it's because all the grass is gone and the ground was really wet. At least the chickens didn't have to walk around in it.

This is our first snow in a few years. It's melting now. I'm glad it doesn't last long here.

So whats that supposed to mean?

Seems a new person around these parts shouldn't be stirring up trouble......................... ? Unless you're trolling ? ?

Might be alot of Northerners that would take offense to that comment, wasn't very nice. I too have found your posts, KingDean, to be somewhat challenging/antagonistic and can't imagine why a new person would want to appear that way? When you posted about being on the board because you were being so helpful to your wife and her beloved chickens and then you weren't helpful enough to know anything about them other than their color, seemed alittle strange to me. And that was a part of an entire thread where you talked about cliques on the board and threads that didn't make sense to you....If you are legit and not a troll trying to rile people up, then maybe you could try posting with a little more sensitivity in mind. There are so many terrific folks on this board that will help you with any real issues you may have but if you are all about pretense and deception for whatever odd personal reason you may have, I really feel sorry for the great opportunities at good friendships that you will lose out on from people on this forum.

You guys must not like new people here. You try to find a place to go and talk to other people and they call you a ugly monster that lives under a bridge. So what does trolling mean?

I was saying that if I wanted to have REAL snow then I would move up north where there is REAL snow and walk around with a bad attitude because I would be freezing my behind off. I didn't realize that would push any buttons. Touchy touchy.

I said I joined this forum to get to know more about chickens. My wife is the one that knows all about them. I said I was here to learn and surprise her with my new found knowledge. I didn't say that I knew anything about them. And for someone to talk down to someone who doesn't know more about chickens other than the color of them isn't being very nice or helpful.

Those pictures are beautiful! I am so jealous! We used to get snow here more often (couple times a year), but the past several years it have been one dusting if any.

Darn global warming...I'm gonna have to move now so I can have snow again.

So what does trolling mean?

A troll is someone on a message board who is on the forum just to start issues with the other members.

Trolling is not always on purpose, just be careful of what you say.
* No Trolling (posting to provoke others, luring them to flame or rant). Trolling is sometimes done involuntary, so please be considerate when posting.
