cats hurting baby chicks.

hi, I’m a newbie one of a stray cat attacked my baby chick what should I do? it has a small scratch on his head.

Please post a picture of the chick.
Where are you brooding them? Obviously, their brooder needs to be secure so cats cannot get to them.

Secure the chicks, the cats may not eat the chicks, but use them as play toys.
