Cats or Dogs, that is the question.

I have three dogs, two are rat terriers that sleep with us, our chow sleeps at the foot of the bed. I love needy things I guess, call me a dog person.

I like cats and I have had several over the years. One in particular I was attatched to more than any other animal I had before. I was heartbroken when we had to find her a new home because our youngest son is allergic (not just a little allergic, but badly enough that he had allergy induced pneumonia five time by the time he was five years old even with preventative meds). I haven't had a cat since then and I don't think I ever will. I LOVE dogs though. I have always been a dog person. I like that they will listen (as long as you train them correctly!), and that I can mush with my dogs. Somehow I can't see a cat hooked up to a sled or scooter!

Definitely a dog person! I like cats too, just if I had to choose, dogs would win, hands down. In fact, if I could only own one animal, it would be a dog over all other species.

I absolutely love both and have three dogs and three cats, but if I had to choose I think I'm just slightly more a dog person. I like how interactive dogs are, and that you can bring them all over with you and that they are such constant companions. My dogs are always happy to see me and always treat me with enthusiasm and love, whereas my cats are more mercurial. Cats are great companions, too, but they can't go with you anywhere really.
