I know this isn't the right thread, but here goes I'm still learning. They're out! So far they have stayed from I-35! It is quite noisy!

So far so good! They cooped up last night. When I got home before dark the peafowl were out, They decided to get in there old small coop!

My peas are the very last to go to the roost out of all my different kinds of fowl and the last down but first out going on a walk about in the morning.
Once they get comfy they will take to a higher place like the kennel they are in then they will graduate to the trees at least that is how they have done it here the last 4 batches i raised up.

How old were your peafowl when you let them out to free range?

The first 3 batches the day they turned 4 months old.. this year the oldest was a couple months and the youngest a few week.
I wanted to see if any would get sick and i never lost a one out of 32

i had.

I'm toying with the idea of turning them out. They will be 3 mi old Nov 12. The guinias are going around the house hollering. If they see me they run toward me get about 2 foot away then turn the other direction and run!
