cats

I think you'd have to do some test introductions and see. About once a week or so I introduce Kitty to the chickens. Each time she reaches out to hold the chicken with her paw while her mouth goes straight for the throat. I was hoping when my roosters got big enough they would give Kitty a what-for, but they're terrified of her too. Kitty weighs 2 1/2 lbs., my biggest rooster weighs 12 lbs. Go figure.
Kitty brings home full sized rabbits, rats, squirrels and birds. She has become a part-time indoor cat.

This is funny so I'll share it.

I have 47 hens. 40 of them free range for a couple hours a day.

Well they go to the cats outdoor dish and eat whatever is there. Usually, not much cause I'm letting them range and can't afford cat food for chickens too. The cats just watch!

Then the Chickens poop in the yard of course. When I put them back in the run......the cats bury all the poo they can find. The cats must think it's digusting, LOL.
