Cattle Panel Question

That's what I was going to suggest.
Are you going to put up the beam to support the cp roof part first?
I'd planned to add the beam after when I can see exactly where the support is most needed.

Just went out and checked, all panels will need to run horizontally. Too much curve. So it'll be assemble 2 on the ground then hang. I see no option.

You may need beam to install panels, especially if they have HC and roofing attached.
Can you cut the roof panels so they go straight out with a bit of overhang?

I'll have to hang the hc after the thing is up I think. It'll just get too heavy. I'd need supports for the panels that just can't be arranged any way I can see. But they'll perform fine horizontally I think, overlap to shed water, follow the curve well for sure. I hope.

IF I'll even need the hc. I've assumed I would. Now I'm not sure. Is a raccoon likely to chew through those panels? If it didn't run away after getting zapped it would have to climb above the wire fence at the bottom...hmm.

You could always leave the HC off, and install it on the inside later if necessary...
.....it would be a little tricky, but not that hard to do.

Good plan, once I know how it comes together.

I might electrify the whole 3' of welded wire actually. I'd like to see anything climb past that!

What a day. Ran out of lumber somehow. I have 2 panels sitting there basically waiting for a good breeze to tear them down.

I don't have the header up. Thought I had more 2x6 I used to make the other one but I don't. Can't use my huge beams as while shopping in my barn loft I found another need for those, roof issue in there.

Lumber run tomorrow.

I used galvanized electric fence wire to attach two panels together. They moved almost like one, worked very well. The panels attach through to the furring strips under the cattle panels nicely. I attached just the ones that couldn't be reached after hanging them. But 2 cattle panels plus the strips and roof was plenty heavy.

Need a way to secure the edges of the poly carb down on the open sides. Maybe weather striping tubes? With some random hardware yet to be found clamping them on.

Who knows what else I screwed up lol.
