Cattle Panel Question

What I want to do is build hinged panels with several windows on each one. About 6x5ft, 6x5ft, and 5x5ft. That will swing and hook open for the summer leaving the hardware cloth alone for full ventilation.

Anyone know a product that I can run the length of this hinged seam that will allow it to swing up easily but shed rain? Picturing a long strip of rubber or something. This sort of minor thing can have me wandering Lowes for an hour!

EDPM pond liner...also can be found as roofing membrane...
...where you can find it tho, hmmmm, not sure on that one.
Sometimes the big box stores have ponding items, not sure they'd have a big roll tho.
You might be able to find it online.

Perfect, that's thin enough to maybe tuck right under the last run of poly carb where it overlaps the wood, so it'll be totally drip free and can stay open in a downpour. I'll rig some kind of brace to hold them open. Thanks!

Exactly!
The only concern might be that it could be caught by the wind and flip up....don't think that's too likely tho.

I could probably glue it down with a teeny bit of slack to allow the needed movement. This will work and I might put in a pond so I could steal a little strip from it.

I bought some really heavy stuff at Lowes in the plumbing section. I think it was designed as an underlayment for shower stall drain pans.

If I don't get a pond liner I'll look there. So nice to have a department to check versus wandering every. darned. aisle.
