I now have a Prairie Bluebell Egger named Shriek. She looks like a Brown Leghorn. She strenuously and very loudly objects to me cleaning the poop trays every morning at 9 a.m. She screams the whole time.

It must be an Egger thing My blind EE, Gidget, does this too! I don’t have a good photo of her squawking, but believe me, she does. When I’m out in the garden and haven’t gone to say hi to her, she hears me and starts complaining, loudly. She’s upped her game in recent months too, she’s started crowing. Here’s a bonus photo, because those cheeks are just too cute.
