Caught this video of my Turkey yawning!

Awe, that's cute and so friendly. Will she stay that way? My neighbor has two and the female comes all the way over here and comes by us but when we go to pet her, she backs away. We don't feed her so no idea why she'd come a few acres away to see us, but not let us pet her.

Taco only lets me pet her sometimes and it’s just me, taco doesn’t allow anyone else to pet her but overall she comes up to everyone (just a tad bit wary) some turkeys just really like people I guess, I also raised taco since she was 2 weeks old so I’m not surprised that she trust me, although Taco and my other turkey dandelion are the only 2 turkeys I’ve ever raised so I’m not an expert!

I've never had turkeys but never considered them being particularly friendly. Guess you and Taco have changed my thinking. Do you suppose she's bored or tired when she yawns?
Turkeys are definitely friendly if you raise them to be that way, she was probably tired in the video because I let all of my birds free range that day. I don’t usually let them free range because if they get to used to it they start to hop the fence and then eaten by predators, so yesterday they got to have fun all day!

turkey are quite strange fellas. :D
