We have a Buff Orpington hen with gross, thick, twisted nails on both feet. We just recently got her, but know she has had access to the outside and was housed with two other chickens that have normal nails. Is there something that would cause this? She seems to walk fine, but does have a circular scab (bumblefoot?) on the bottom of one foot.
