Cayauga Duckling Bills Turning White???

I hatched out some SQ Cayuga ducklings a couple weeks ago. I just noticed tonight that they are getting white blotches on their bills. It does not appear to be an infection or anything, just a color change. Here are some images. Is this normal for this type of duck? They have been getting fed high protein gamebird starter supplemented with brewers yeast for Niacin. They are otherwise happy and lively (little biters), being raised with Guinea Keets and Chicks.

you sure its a color change and not the yeast on the bill? i really have no clue as my 2 came from ideal and they are crested (u can see them in my duck album lol) but they have solid bills and have never had a color change bill

Nope, it is in the bill it does not rub or wipe off.

Hmmm, I have black east indies so they are kinda similar and I've never seen that. Maybe it's just their genetic makeup? Maybe it's temporary?
