    Do you guys feed all those spices all the time or just once a week or so?

    FYI, garlic is in the onion family and most vets will say that neither should be fed to birds.

    I just give cayenne to them if I notice them acting droopy at all [​IMG]. I also heard that onions and garlic shouldn't be fed in too large amounts because of the potency or something like that, but some people use it and it works for them so I think allot depends on the situation/specific flock.

    It's said that any amount should not be fed due to the risk of hemolytic anemia.

    I grow both and I don't worry if they eat a little, but why risk it by feeding it on purpose?
