Cayuga duck eggs day 23 still air polyhatcher

Hello all,

I am a first time hatcher.

My cayuga duck eggs are on day 23 in a still air polyhatcher. As hatching time approaches i have a few questions:
1. When do i fill the water trays?
2. When do i stop turning as there are so many different answers online
3. Should i fill both trays now and just leave them alone?

Hi I stop turning when the ducklings internally pip - stick their bills into the air cell.

I raise the humidity to around 70% when I see the first external pip.

I stop turning once I see the shadowing along the lower part of the air cell. This tells me 24-48 hours I should see internal pip
After internal pip I up the humidity
