I have for sale 10+ Cayuga duck eggs. I have 5 hens in with one drake. The drake and 4 of the hens are from Holderread's Waterfowl Preservation stock, and the remaining hen is from Welp hatchery of Iowa. I have some of these guys in my incubator and 100% were fertile.
Shipping is USPS Priority with delivery confirmation.

What are the temperments of this breed of duck? I am thinking of getting some ducks and these are beautiful. Is it true that if you hatch the eggs and the babies see humans they are more tame?

They're a pretty mellow duck. They not at all aggressive to my other ducks or chickens. They're some of my favorites, and very pretty in the sunlight. A lot of cayugas you see don't have a nice green sheen to them, but these ones do. I'm always hesitant to say a duck/chicken is show quality, because I don't show..... but I'm thinking these may be....

Yes, like chickens, if they're handled and coddled and given treats when young they will be more tame than if you just shove food in the box.

The vary throughout the year. Early in the year some are gray-black, and as they lay more they turn to green or white. Right now mine are mostly greenish gray with a white now and then.
