Cayuga Egg Question

Do any ducks lay blue shells?

There are only white and blue shells.
Brown eggs have brown coating on white shells.
Green eggs have brown coating on blue shells.
The brown coating can be very light or very dark.
Then the bloom can add another aspect to the egg color.
Pink/purplish eggs are from the bloom on a brown egg.
My Calls lay a mint green egg that actually is white.

doesn’t wash off. Lighting in my home isn’t the best but there are blue eggs in this carton

If it’s the bloom that gives the egg the color then it certainly can be washed off to some degree. I’m not sure with Cayuga eggs where the color comes in the process.

I also have duck eggs that look green at times, and it’s all bloom. The shells are not blue. Most of the shells are a cream color for all my ducks.
