Cayuga... or no?

I was given two ducklings (my very first!) a few nights ago. The person I received them from said they were supposed to be Cayuga ducklings (he obtained eggs from an unknown -to me- source). After reading that Cayuga ducklings should be solid black, I am wondering if these little ones are in fact of the Cayuga breed. Any help would be much appreciated! I will add photos below.

Please excuse the state of the brooder! Lol. Hubs will be taking care of that soon as he gets home... I can hardly believe it was nice and clean just yesterday! Never knew ducks were SO messy!!

This little one had a terribly crooked neck and would turn circles or just fall over from lack of balance, which I've been giving him/her vitamins for. I'm surprised at how much better he/she is doing in such a short period of time! :)

I have Cayuga mixes.... They looked very similar, especially at the bill, where it meets the face. And yes, ducks are extraordinarily messy!

as mine got older with adult feathers, they turned a brilliant emerald green and black with purple wing tips on one. Good luck!

They look like my Cayuga mixes as well (Cayuga mom, Rouen dad):

Although, some Cayugas will have some yellow/white on the chest when they first hatch, but the yellow wing tips suggest a mix. That's my guess anyway. :)

I do believe they are AT LEAST part Cayuga... I was told they were pure, but I'm not quite sure how reliable the person's knowings are and after reading up the one with the snowy white chest and wings had me thrown off. They were given to us from a friend of hubby, so I wasn't going to question it much. Regardless, they are adorable and we've wanted ducks for some time now. :)
