CC&R verbiage

Amen to the evils of HOAs!

We were once living in temporary quarters in a gated community with serious HOAs. My 8yo son was there with my husband and oldest daughter while I was back here with my middle daughter until she finished school and we could join them.

On my son's birthday my husband's office sent him a bouquet of balloons since he was alone with my 13yo daughter on his workday b-day. The bouquet was left tied to the mailbox and my husband got a complaint call from the HOA because the balloons were there for a few hours until he could get home to take them inside.

People without souls shouldn't be running other people's lives. But JHChick will have to decide for herself if she's prepared to seduce them or do battle with them.

We don’t have a HOA its a CC&R. Basically, from my understanding, they have rules in place like a HOA but we don’t pay monthly. There isn’t anyone walking around to enforce the rules. Our neighbors would have to complain. To who? No idea. Hence the reason everyone parks in their driveways and on the streets. Talked it over with my husband and he thinks there is no way anyone would complain. Our neighbors are really awesome and we get along great. We will have new neighbors on one side soon though. The only way some one would complain is if the hens were loud and/or smelly bringing in rodents. That’s not happening with my OCD for cleanliness. We aren’t planning on getting any for another 1-2 years though. We want the kids to be a little older. Just looking into everything beforehand.
