Cease & Desist in Torrington, CT

My neighbors have called the police, zoning and animal control on us multiple times. I had 15 chickens and 6 of them turned out to be roosters. I re-homed 5 of them and re-homed the last one yesterday. I now have 9 hens and received a Cease & Desist Order in the mail today. City regulations is 3 acres for any farm animal. My poor chickens can't even come out of their coop because of these neighbors.

If anybody has any help for me in what I can do to keep my chickens it would be very appreciated.

By the way, there are MANY homes in my town that let their chickens free roam around and they aren't being bothered at all, just us.

The sad fact is that morons are becoming the majority all across this great nation. Overflowing with ignorance, and not interested in changing. Call said neighbor and ask if instead of tattling to city hall, they'd like to meet you somewhere....
