Coccidia are always present.

Only one or two of the 9-11 strains of coccidia currently known to effect poultry may show up as blood in droppings.. when there is an overgrowth of them.. known as coccidiosis. Cocci.. is something else all together.

That's very brown not like the bright red I've seen from blood when chicks have presented with coccidiosis from those strains.

Are your conditions such that coccidiosis might be suspect (crowded, wet, new bird additions to new land, etc) or are you seeing any other symptoms that would otherwise indicate concern?

Looks cecal to me.. but parasite load can be confirmed via fecal float.. Some folks may treat anyways since there is allegedly no harm. Please always use YOUR best judgement.
