Cedar Pergola to... Coop or Treehouse... ?!?!?

Wow, I have all this pristine reclaimed wood from a pergola I took down at my new house... and now I can't decide if I want to use it to make a treehouse or a chicken coop??!? I don't have enough wood to complete both. (Note: it's not an "either / or" for the builds, I will make both eventually... I am deciding which to use this reclaimed wood on!).

I do! But I can just build one out of "normal" materials too.

Pretty much.
Unless the cedar lumber is the aromatic kind and you sand down all the old stuff enough to release the essential oils.(doubtful).

I believe aged cedar is ok. It is no longer drying and releasing chemicals. I could be wrong there.....

Coop out of cedar (especially this older cedar) should be fine. That treehouse is really wow too!
