Cedar rabbit hutch?

I am quarantining 2 birds in a cedar rabbit hutch. I know cedar is not good for chickens but will they be ok for a few weeks? I'm using pine bedding.

Ive heard of others here building coops out of cedar and using the rabbit hutches. I would think it would be ok. Thinking that the dust of the cedar bedding is what causes respiratory probs...not an actual building made of it.
Im sure someone else will come along that knows more then I.
