Celadon eggs on the way. 1st time hatcher. Advice?

I ordered some true blue celadon eggs and an incubator.... so now I'd love tips for a great hatch rate. I ordered 24 eggs total. This is the incubator that was recommended to us for hobby hatching.

Any advice for a first timer?
Any recommendations for a thermometer/humidity guage to go inside the incubator?
Anything different about hatching celadon eggs?

If you plan on candling them, celadon eggs are tricky to see through and you may just have to go by the amount of air left in the air cell. Avoid opening the incubator if there are any pipped eggs since the dry air will shrink wrap them in the shells.

You need to calibrate your thermometer and hygrometer, utube will tell you how.
Thank you. Do you have a thermometer/hydrometer you'd recommend to put in with the eggs? Just in case. I've seen some on Amazon that have an app on your phone you can monitor... but I want to use one that works well for incubators, if I can find one.

Thank you. Good to know! How long can I leave hatched chicks in the incubator before I have to take them out?

Hopefully they will all hatch within the same couple hours and you can take them out once they’re all nice and fluffy. Unfortunately this is often not the case. The usual amount I keep mine in is about 12 hours, and stuff a moist paper towel in for a moisture boost near the pipped eggs. While a few of mine had to go nearly 24 hours in there during one hatch, I don’t think they would be in good condition if they were left in for the 48 hours that some websites say is possible, they’re a lot smaller than chickens.

Thank you! I am very nervous and excited.
