First I want to thank everyone who has offered great advice on BYC and answered all my questions thoughtfully and kindly and thoroughly even if they may have seemed silly or redundant. Everyone on here is so supportive, which made the leap from chickens to ducks smooth and fun and stress-free. I was assured that the lack of laying was normal for now, and after approximately 6 weeks in their new home, one of my ducks laid her first egg today! (at lest the first since they have come to live with me) Hopefully the other 2 girls will follow suit.
