Celery??

Sometimes mine eat it right away, sometimes it's the last thing they touch. Inside the house, it goes something like this:

Me: I always crack the stalks in half and pull off the strings and chuck them, so they don't get impacted crops.
Kids: Mom, you don't even do that for US!

Alternate...
Spouse: You don't make ME scrambled eggs before work.
and...
Kids: Moooooom, did you give the chickens all the bananas (or strawberries, or blueberries...) again?

My chickens ate my celery without asking .. and gobbled it all the way to the roots. So .. I don't know about everyone else's but there are 4 orps in Cali that love celery.
