My husband was sitting in his office at work very early one morning doing paperwork when some cops burst in asking about the emergency. He asked them what emergency? They said they had received a 911 call and proceeded to check out the place. After the cops determined that there was no one in distress at that address, a little investigation determined that the fax machine had called 911 all by itself.
