Census...Another reminder?

I sent mine back since I like to keep my enemies close....

The wastefulness of our tax dollars has now become mind boggling!

Ok, so here's my pondering:
300 million people, give or take, in this country. Say 100 million families as a rough estimate. So 100 million letters. Sent out twice, before and after. Estimate 50 cents per letter with the stamp, paper, and ink. Times two. A dollar per family spent on these ridiculous pre and post census letters. So, that's ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS down the drain, one hundred million dollars totally wasted.

And there are hungry people in this country. I am beyond disgusted.

If I get a reminder it will not go to waste, neither did the letter or envelope that I got stating I would be getting the census, I recycle, they will become packing material for my eggs

Clearly I need a new, more feminine avatar.

The best part is that my avatar is my dog, Artie. She's female, but suffers constant gender confusion from people who think her name means she's male. People really are like their dogs!
