I worked for the 1990 census. My job was to review census forms that had been returned to make sure all the necessary information was filled in correctly. If so, the form went into the processing pile; if not, it went into the pile for someone to do a follow-up phone call or home visit to get the information. I might think about applying to do that again - thanks for the link!
