hey kelly or bittygirl, how old was that sultan hen when i got her? my first chickens i ever got have started laying (which btw ill post pics of the eggs) and im wondering when ill get some nice white eggs

I dont know, Bitty, Im not sure Im bringing them yet. As of today I can't sex them; I dont know if another week is going to make it any easier. May have to hold them til the next swap, but Ill keep you posted.

Well just let me know at least ya know I am interested. I still want my feather cheeks!

Oh I was gonna let you know I may have a few Self Blue D'uccles that I may bring but I may wait to the next swap just to make sure they are past the danger zone!

Bitty, those olive eggers are still pretty small, but Im not seeing any feathers coming out the side of their heads yet. Do you still want them?
 
Hi. Not sure if I can make it yet, but I'll try.
Sad day. Jen, one of my faverolles died. She got paler and paler, then she was doing that gasping breathing, her lungs were filling with water and her heartrate was thru the roof. I gave her 4 xanax this morning and we did the humane thing. DH helped, we both cried.
