OHHH NOOO...She did? That means everyone one of those chicks died. I wonder what was wrong with them? U said all of yours that u hatched died too didn't u? At least my kids didn't have to know about it. They balled when the other two died.

Yeah, both of mine died in the first week. I wonder if she has something genetic going on in that flock?

They can be, but it's usually not a problem like it is in other animals. I suppose if you inbred them for long enough something would crop up. I should have necropsied her, but I didn't think about it at the time...

Bitty, hopefully you'll take him. I was told he was a barred rock. If he's not then I would have no idea. He's like 10-12 pounds, and has the saddest eyes, he makes me come close to crying. He spends all day pacing looking at my chickens. The food in there, corn and bread, has been sitting on the ground in there for weeks. I gave him something to eat yesterday.

The guy next door is an idiot. He's Hispanic and pretends that he knows very little English. I've told him a million times what to do for that roo. I don't even think that roo has ever had real chicken food.

Edited because he is an idiot, and it's not because of where he's from

I will still take him. It is easier for me to find a good home for him plus if I dont Chickenzoo comes over enough he will be in her collection before long if I dont find a home for him first!

Thankyou soooo much Bitty. I could cry when I look at him. He's so unhappy. I know he's healthy disease-wise, he's only been exposed to his hen who got killed. I'm sure he needs a good meal, instead of all that cr*p he's been living on.

Not a problem I can normally find homes for roos pretty easy as long as I only get a few at a time. But he will get fed good here that is for sure.

Ok, I'm going to split up the ducks, so whichever one of you wants them and can pick them up first wins! LOL

I'm also going to sell my Button Quail I think. I have a trio of adults, 1 7-wk-old, and 8 or 9 4-wk-olds. I don't know what sexes the younger ones are yet and the 7-wk-old is white, so I can't tell on it either.

Yeah! I'm gonna pass on the ducks as well, I have 90 eggs in the bator and a good portion of those are duck eggs, Cayuga and Welsh Harlequin
