I need some of those Coturnix...girls please! I ended up w/ 3 boys and 1 girl, but one of the boys escaped today b/c I didn't shut the door all the way when I took their feeder out to fill it up. I'm glad my girl didn't leave though!

That's so cool!! Are you going to raise it (if it's still alive)? I raised a lot of baby squirrels on bottles after the hurricanes in '04, but never a flying one!

My cat brought me a mouse today...good kitty!
 
Kelly, youre the vet! It was all wet and cold, blown out its nest by the storm. I stuck it under the heat lamp and it woke up so I gave it pedialyte with the eye dropper. now what?
 
Can you tell how old it looks? Does it have hair yet? Are the eyes open? You probably need some kitten formula and a bottle. I have some here if you want to come get it...lol. If you don't want to keep the little thing I'll adopt it!
 
Eyes are open, has hair, maybe 2inches long. Big eyes, flat tail.
How often should I feed him thru the night? every 2-3 hrs??
 
Every 3-4 hours is probably fine. Sounds like he's at least a couple weeks old. You can get kitten formula and a bottle at Walmart. If he's not big enough for a bottle just use a dropper. Don't give him cow's milk though...it's not good for them. Good luck! Let me know if you get tired of him...I'll trade you a chick for him.
