That's why I was thinking of getting her a silky hen for a pet. I'm hoping silkies are more docile than the voracious velociraptors that I have for laying hens.
 
Oh but silkies are evil, I have them I love them but pure evil, just don't look into there eyes and you will be ok.
 
I second what daygrower said. They are the only birds who are allowed to walk around inside the house. They make me let them.
 
I'll be bringing 15 White Silkie chicks from my breeder stock. They are between 1-14 days old. I also have 6 chicks that are 2 1/2 months old white unsexed (too hard to sex at that age), and I have 3 pair of 5 month old white chicks in pairs. Will also have white hatching eggs available.. Am coming from Lake City
