[Starlings and dogs]

hello, i'm from the rolla area but actually live in vichy, I live on a 85 acre farm with my 2 dogs (I really want to get another dog, hopefully a border collie puppy) 5 cats and one snake which we have to rehome this year. we were going to move so we got rid of all our poultry and livestock but then decided to stay so thats why we don't have that many animals

Hello, we are in between Springfield and Mt Vernon. We’ve only had chickens since February when we got 5 bared rock that started laying on Fathers Day. We also got 6 red sex links that were born in the middle of May. The big girls act like they are dogs following us around everywhere and run towards us when we call them. They free range all day. The little ones spend the night inside the house and then outside in a small pen during the day getting familiar with the big girls but being protected still unless the big girls walk inside the house for a visit. That’s another nice thing about having cement floors on our main level.
