I have two roosters who have got along with their hens for the last year. But all of a sudden the slightly bigger rooster is picking on the black Astralorp(sp).
The black astralorp is about 10 months old, maybe 11. He was the ugliest chick ever, didn't have feathers for a long time, and didn't have tail feathers until recently. He has been a good rooster, he has tested me from time to time but over all a good rooster. He was looking pretty handsome finally until his big brother decided he wanted all the ladies to himself.
I am trying to find him a home that needs a protector and not going to eat him. I understand that may be hard to do though. I don't have a recent picture but will try and add one tomorrow.
