FANCY FEATHERS 5th Annual Open Chicken Show ​

Comal County Fairgrounds in New Braunfels, Texas​

Our show is open to all Texas exhibitors.

Entry Deadline is March 3, 2012.
Current P/T test papers must accompany entry.

APA/ABA Sanctioned Show - Backyard Show - Junior Show
Serama Show - 1st Table-top show in Texas!
Egg Show - Youth Showmanship - Cluck-off
Raffle - Silent Auction
Concession Stand serving delicious food

What a great and amazing show! We had lots of fun, won some things at the raffle, and got to talk to many people.

How did everyone do/like it?

Our sumatra pullet got reserve champ LF Jr.
Our Wc blue polish pullet got champ AOCCl Jr.
and our blue polish mix cockerel got 3rd place LF Backyard

Hi are there any other shows in Tx? I live in Lockhart sort of between Austin and San Antonio. Is there a site of shows? I know my son and I would LOVE to go to some.

The show season is winding down and the last show till September will be the South Texas Fair in Beaumont on the 24th of March. The show season picks up again in September with the first show of the fall on Labor day weekend in La Grange( Fayette Co Fair)
If you go to the BluebonnetClassic.com website there is a list of shows and the contacts for them.

I will say that the Brazos Valley Poultry Club will have a Lawn show for its members on May 5th in Brenham at Dan Dykes house. This is an informal show for beginners to help teach them how to show and have a judge evaluate their birds. More on this is also on the website.

My son wants to go to the Funky Chicken Coop Tour in Austin on April 7th. Anyone been to the previous ones?
 
The Funky Coop Tour is such a fun time!
You guys should definitely go... we will be going again this year :)
