I got an order in for a PSA .300 Blackout pistol with an 8.5” barrel. I’m going to upgrade the brace right out the gate. I’ll put some round through it to see if I like the PSA trigger or not. If not, I’ll upgrade it. I just dropped a Geiselle into my LR .308 and will do the same on the Blackout if needbe.

The new ease of getting suppressors is going to be a game changer for me. For the last decade I’ve only bought suppressed airguns. I can no longer abide the obnoxious muzzle blast of a firearm. From this point forward as I transition back to firearms, every firearm rifle I shoot will be suppressed if possible. Most immediately, my next project will be a suppressed rimfire. Maybe a Ruger 10/22 takedown with an integral suppressor.

Heck yeah. I almost got into big bore airguns, but I ended up going the suppressor route. You're going to love it. All I shoot is suppressed subsonic now.

10/22 takedown would be awesome, I have a regular one. My $.02, I would skip the integral suppressor and just buy a screw on. More versatile and will be easier to clean. You will have to clean the rimfire cans if you shoot alot. They foul up big time, unlike centerfire cans.

For rimfire, I would recommend a titanium/stainless suppressor. You can soak the baffles in CLR and you don't even have to scrub them. Aluminum suppressors are cheaper and lighter but they can't be soaked in CLR. To be fair, I've never tried to clean aluminum baffles by soaking in less effective solutions abd scrubbing, but soaking in CLR is SO EASY, I'll never buy an aluminum can so I can keep using it.

Whats cool about AR platform is being able to swap uppers and lowers. One of my rifle lowers has a timney trigger and my only pistol lower (braced) has a timney trigger. I've got a couple pistol uppers have "quite a few" full AR rifles but I only need two timney triggers for all my different uppers.
