Ceramic egg destroyed

I use ceramic eggs for my girls nest eggs and went out today and found that something (possum or coon) thought it had a treat last night. It destroyed my nest egg. I'm tired of the pests.

I have had black rat snakes to ingest ceramic eggs on occasion.

If you look very closely at the picture, you can see where teeth penetrated the egg.
