Ceramic Heat Bulbs

I have a 100 watt reptile bulb that I put into a ceramic base because the base of the bulb is shorter.
One thing to keep in mind these bulbs do not give any radiant heat. It only omitts heat directly under the bulb. And they will quickly burns a chickens comb unless you build a cage around it. I like mine. So far so good. Best wishes

I dont use any heat as it is the number 1 way to burn down your coop.
The reptile bulb produces UVB which is harmful to their eyes and ours, do bloke it so they cannot see the bulb.
