Ceramic Nest Eggs Get The Boot Daily

How many chickens do you have? As to your question about skipping a day or two. There is what is ideal, and what you can do. Of course it’s ideal to pick them up daily. But yes you can get away with skipping a day or two.

The risk is that the more eggs pile up in one nest, the potential for the hens to accidentally break on goes up. If one does break and the chickens eat it, then they can start breaking eggs and eating them on a regular basis.

No if you only have a few hens the risk is minimal. The more chickens you have the chances of breakage goes up since the silly things like to put all the eggs in the same nest.

What kind of camera is that? We've considered getting a camera to watch them while we're gone, but I have no idea what kind of camera to get!
I have arlo pro for my house. Which is cheap now cause arlo pro 2 came out. Just added a camera to the system once I got chickens. I used it to know all made it into coop before auto door close. Now for eggs. Download slick deals app and wait till you see deal on system.

You can from a computer but you will be doing this 100% from phone. Wireless set up. Only records and notification when there is motion. You can set the rules. I kept the chicken camera on don't record or let me know when movement and just can tap into live feed whenever. With garage front door back door it would alert me on my phone when movement happen. But now with camera on nesting boxes I set to record and alert me. Do research before jumping on but I approve of arlo pro security cameras. Don't get original arlo (not pro) and no need for arlo pro 2 just better quality footage but that is not a concern with arlo pro

10 layers? Yeah your going to need a friend / neighbor pick up your eggs if you go away for a few days. Was thinking maybe you only had a couple birds.

Trouble is once you have one egg eating hen, the other hens are going to catch her at it. At which point she will teach the other hens about how wonderful eggs taste. The sad part is there's really no way to break them of the habit.
