10 layers? Yeah your going to need a friend / neighbor pick up your eggs if you go away for a few days. Was thinking maybe you only had a couple birds.

Trouble is once you have one egg eating hen, the other hens are going to catch her at it. At which point she will teach the other hens about how wonderful eggs taste. The sad part is there's really no way to break them of the habit.

Thanks for the heads up! In that case I will offer free eggs to whoever can come and get them. Shouldn't be a problem.
