Chain link--chicken wire or hardware cloth for predator proofing?

My run is covered. It has chicken wire but has been covered over with plywood for shade and to help keep the run dry in rainy weather. Also my electric wire is out a little bit from the chicken wire. I don't believe there is a predator that can get past the electric. Maybe a cat as they can jump pretty high. I know some critters have gotten zapped by my wire because I have heard them yell when they have come in contact with it. If you do use electric, you will need to get a good power supply. Some go too light on the power supply and not much zap. I have forgotten to turn it off when I go into the birds yard and have gotten zapped. I sure felt it and I can just imagine a critter who weighs far less than I do must really get a good charge.
