Chair by the Chicken Coop Club

Two with a table outside the coop, 1 in the run. I used to sit on the bucket in the run but it was just too low for long visits.

I'll add pictures in the am.

So this took longer than it should. Watching the girls has saved me from so much stress. The best way to start or end my day.

Here is the chair in the run where we start the day.

Here is the chair and side table we while they are free ranging in the afternoon.

My favorite past time is sitting and watching the chooks. I have two that like to come sit on my chair or in my lap. Flora, my Splash Marans and Alberta my old BO. The others just like to mill around and see if anything is going on. I have a chair by the coop and a sitting area with adirondak chairs and a fire pit that I use to chicken watch. The chickens like to sit on the chairs as much as I do. LOL. They are my coffee break in the morning and my stress relief after work in the evening.

Love the coop names. I thought I was the crazy chicken lady. LOL. I do have a special dust bath pool. Alberta went to sleep in it one day and I thought she was dead- looked pretty scraggly. Nope, just stopped for a nap. My coop is the Cackle Shack.

Cackle Shack, I love it! I really like your idea about the dust bath pool. Right now, my girls either bathe under neath some big trees where dirt is exposed, or in their chicken run which has sand in it. At least they wait until I clean the run before using that sand to bathe in.

My sunroom faces the backyard. I have a breakfast nook (padded benches). I drink my morning coffee, eat my breakfast, eat my lunch, sometimes dinner too while watching my flock.

So not a chair by the coop, but the coop was built so I could watch out my back window.

What beautiful girls you have! What breed of hens are they? I couldn't help noticing your OSU shirt. Now you need to get some red hens so you can have a scarlet and gray flock! Go Bucks! Beat Michigan!

Does IN the coop count? We keep these vintage folding chairs hung in our coop so all we have to do is take them off the wall and have a seat! I love hanging out with them!
