If this helps, I've seen homemade corn hole boards with decals on them and people just applied polyurethane over the decals. I'm assuming they used several coats because 1-2 coats of poly wouldn't make the board quite slick enough for cornhole. But since your daughter made it, I'd hate to see your sign messed up so I would do a test run on scrap wood and decals and poly to make sure it wouldn't ruin your sign.Thanks! I thought about that, but it looks like the lettering is that vinyl like stuff. Do you think a clear coat will protect the lettering?
