Chair by the Chicken Coop Club

Pics
I don’t have a chair yet, but I’m joining the club! :frow I will post once I find a chair.
My girls just got a cattle panel run (sort of). It’s not predator proof yet, so they can’t be out on their own. But, tonight, I let them out to enjoy a bit of freedom. As I was standing there, I thought, “Man I could sure use a chair.” It didn’t hurt that today was balmy compared to what November’s weather usually is. I also forgot my phone to take a pic of their freedom. :wee
Of course, I was nervous and thought they might try to fly away (or at least perch on top of the shed where I could not reach them) so they only got 10 min of free time. I also had to get back inside to finish dinner. Ha.

My ee girl on the "chair" in the run. I usually sit at the picnic table in the big yard in the mornings and all 5 girls come to visit.

Well, just thinking about getting a chair counts, or even if you sit on the ground, that counts, too! Welcome to "The Club" as the newest member! :celebrate

Oh fun! I want to join too! I have a plastic kiddie chair that is tough as nails i keep by the run so i can visit. I don't leave it in the run because i am sure they would poo on it. Love to sit in the run and observe quietly as they peck, scratch and interact. I started doing the chair sitting in TN years ago, i would go sit and watch the chickens in the tractor as well, just from the outside.
Now i am older and i have a lot less chickens. I have Speckled Sussex and Buff Laced Polish, plus guineas.
The guineas hatched July 11th and the chickens mid August. Hubby can't believe how fast they have grown.

well I keep forgetting to take a better pic of my chair in my duck yard lol. It's one of those zero gravity chairs so I can kick back and take nap if I wanna :gigwe are in the process of building a proper coop and run for the ducks but for now this is what we got. I love hanging out with them and watching their antics.

Welcome to "The Club"! :weeDo your neighbors get upset if the ducks start quacking too loud? Luckily my nearest neighbor is pretty far from the coop because when the girls get rowdy they can be pretty loud, especially when they see me coming with the treat bowl! :gig
