Anyone use chalk? Where do you get it? My hens seem to ignore the oyster shell I give them, but I want to supplement because I've been noticing thin shells. Also, how do you feed yogurt to chickens, and how much? Thanks!

I never heard of chalk. I only use oyster shell free choice in a separate container. They'll grab it if they feel the need. I have 1 flock that had some thin shells and eventually firmed up after about a month.
I put yogurt in a dish with a little oats or wheat. Something for it to stick to but you can just put plain yogurt in.
I use clay planter bases, they're pretty porous so I make sure I disinfect them well.

Stick some fruit or something, I mine cucumbers and some fruit and put it in the yogurt. Chalk isn't made in a sanitary environment, which could mean rat poop and such, so probably not a good idea.

If your girls don't like oyster shell. you can clean and crush their egg shells and feed those back to them. I usually treat with yogurt by mixing it with a little rice and putting it in a plastic, washable food type tray. I have given yogurt plain but they spray it all over each other.
