Chalky Egg Shell?? What is it??

Calcium coated eggs and calcium deposits are caused by either defective shell glands, disturbance or stress during the calcification process, or poor nutrition, for example excess calcium in the hen's diet. Unless she continues laying eggs like these I wouldn't worry, but if she does have a look and see if anything is bothering her, is she getting bullied maybe? Watch her calcium intake as well. At this stage she doesn't need more than what she can get from a good quality layer feed.
