Today we let our 3 week old poults out of the brooder and out with the big birds. My hubby & I are sitting there watching the grown turkeys with the little ones when all of a sudden our one male starts stomping the ground and doing the dance around one of our tiny babies. Then the other baby runs over to where the two are and he fans his little tail, and slaps his wings on the ground!
This is so funny because our one tom is a full grown 2 year old, and this baby is maybe size of a baseball. LOL If our older tom wanted to he could just step on the baby and be done with him
but this little poult does not give up! He strutted around for like ten minutes like I won, oh yeah!
So clearly the one is a female.
The other is clearly a little tom!
And one with attitude too. Things are going to get real interesting when they are all grown, lol.
