I had to help a few pip because their shells were too hard, but this one is trying to peirce the aircell, so I'm gonna give it more time.

But not too much that they are getting deposits in their eggs. That wouldn’t be good.

I only give oyster shells when I start getting fragile eggs.

Haven't had that happen yet, so they're getting what they need when needed.

That’s good. I’m going to start giving mine oyster shells soon. My pullets are 17 weeks and my ISA brown pullet is close to the POL. So I’m excited about that and hopefully my other girls will follow suit.
